BIOGRAPHY

Dr. María Herranz-López belongs to the IDiBE of the UMH within the “Design and Development of Bioactive Molecules” research group, dedicated to the study of natural bioactive compounds in relation to various human pathologies, to understand the mechanism underlying their health effects. As evidenced by the publications (38 publications, 26 Q1), patents (3), projects and contracts in which she has participated, the multidisciplinary background in the field biochemistry, molecular biology and food technology, is broad and proven and includes collaborations at the national and international level. She currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Miguel Hernández University since 2015. Education: Human Nutrition and Dietetics (2006, UCAM), Food Science and Technology (2008, UMH), PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2014.
