PROFILE

Luz Maria Alonso-Valerdi is a PhD in computing and electronic systems at the University of Essex (United Kingdom), where she was member of the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) research group. Her main ability is the electronic design, but she has also experience programming low level (e.g., assembly) and high level computer languages (e.g., Matlab and Python). Her research interest is the biomedical engineering applications, including transcutaneous electrical stimulation, registry of physiological electrical activity, biomedical signal processing, pattern recognition, and software engineering.
