On January 7, 2025, Dr. Mohan Kumar, NSF Program Director for the IUCRC, visited the BRAIN Center headquarters at the University of Houston. He met with the BRAIN leadership team to discuss administrative and operational updates, feedback, and challenges for multisite centers.

After the initial meeting, the agenda continued with a visit to the BMI lab, where Dr. Kumar attended a presentation showcasing several projects developed at the University of Houston.
