This thrust focuses on neurotechnology innovations for assaying neural responses to the arts (neuroaesthetics), objects and natural and built environments in general. It comprises research in consumer neuroscience (neuromarketing), brain-computer interfaces and neuroaesthetic neuromodulation for art therapy applications, design of smart and human-connected buildings, and arts integration in education, gaming and design.
