Former Houston Cougar football player Bernard Giddings visited BRAIN lab

Last Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the UH BMI Lab had the honor of hosting former Cougar football player Bernard Giddings (#17). We were able to show him the therapeutic equipment we are creating to help stroke survivors and he taught us about the limited options for those over 6′ (1.83m) tall!

He also taught us about the benefit of using what you love to help in rehabilitation. When he needs to reach up for therapy, “catching” a football gives the best results!
