Member Spotlight: Muhammad Mansoor Mughal

This week, we are excited to introduce Muhammad Mansoor Mughal one of our dedicated Graduate Research Assistants at the Noninvasive Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab. His current research focuses on identifying Perturbation Evoke Potentials (PEP) in stroke patients using EEG technology. Through his project, Mansoor aims to design future devices that can prevent falls in stroke patients, particularly in older age groups. By collecting signals from the brain to activate a supporting device, his work could greatly improve the quality of life for stroke patients and reduce hospitalizations.

Mansoor’s passion for his work and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others is truly inspiring. We are excited to see the progress he will make and look forward to seeing his future contributions to the field. Congratulations, Mansoor, on your outstanding achievements and contributions to Biomedical Engineering!
