Member Spotlight: Salma Ruiz

Say hello to Salma Ruiz, a 6th-semester Biomedical Engineering student and a research assistant in the Neurohumanities Lab project! Salma is part of the team that is working towards developing an immersive booth that can detect emotions to enhance the learning experience. Her first task involves reviewing the code of conduct, but she is also keen on contributing to the project by working on the algorithm to evaluate brain-to-brain synchronization between two individuals. With her strong interest in the field and passion for research, Salma is an asset to the team. We are thrilled to have her on board and can’t wait to see her make strides in her work!
