This thrust focuses on research and methods to ensure that biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and other types of data and AI tools are used ethically and without bias by private and public organizations, industry, government, researchers, and students. Researchers in this thrust also work on achieving a better understanding of the impact of AI on society, and the way we  design, build, test, and interact with AI technology. neuromodulation for art therapy applications, design of smart and human-connected buildings, and arts integration in education, gaming and design.
